About this objectMemorial card that was attached to a wreath at Frank Wild’s funeral at Braamfontein Cemetery, Johannesburg on the 23rd August 1939. The card was left by the explorers friends and neighbours Mr & Mrs Nagle.
The memorial card was one of two brought to Grytviken by Wild's biographer Angie Wild. They were used as part of the ceremony for the internment of Wild's ashes on the 27th November 2011.
