Name/TitleBagatelle Board
About this objectThis Bagatelle Board was disovered in the whaler's accommodation block, Nybrakka, in Grytviken. Nails hammered into the board form 12 'baskets' which are worth various scores from 5 to 100. The back of the board features a hand-drawn target and is covered in small holes. It is possible that the board was used as a make-shift dart board, perhaps by the military when they were using the building.
