About this objectThese cards were left at Frank Wild's funeral in 1939, before being brought to South Georgia, his current resting place, by his biographer Angie Butler in 2015.
Frank Wild met Jack Scott around 1925 as an engineer working for South African railways. They became friends and stayed in touch. Jack offered Frank a job in late 1938 as a storekeeper on one of his mines (Babrusco mine)
Wild worked for Witwatersrand co. in the late 1920s in South Africa
Frank was a member of the British Empire Service League of Pietersburg, South Africa.
