In a weekly series of Facebook posts, Jerome Viard is looking back on the six months he spent living and working on South Georgia whilst working as a Museum Assistant.

Living on the island gives those lucky enough to do so opportunities few will ever experience. Jerome really made the best of his time there. He is a talented photographer and his superb images illustrate these charming, and at times surprising, reminiscences.
