Shackleton’s Last Quest

Shackleton’s Last Quest marks the centenary of the Quest Expedition and what is considered the end of the heroic era of polar exploration. The South Georgia Museum  holds within its collection a number of significant objects linked to Sir Ernest Shackleton and his last expedition. The exhibition focuses on Shackleton’s final resting place and the significance South Georgia played in the story.
