Options for a visit to the South Georgia Museum are varied. The majority of visitors arrive at Grytviken on a cruise ship. Vessels make about 120 visits to the island each year, carrying around 10,000 passengers from all over the world. It is possible to charter a yacht
from the Falkland Islands or South America or indeed to organise an expedition with its own support vessel.
